It is truly sad to see how this tragedy unfolded and YET. It is a FACT that Japan is extremely vulnerable re its Pacific fault lines. No stranger to earthquakes NOR tsunamis. If you watch the vids on what took place that day the underlying truth emerges that was in itself shocking re how lax some were in reaction to the earthquake/tsunami with many who died probably who if they had heeded and OBEYED the warnings as instructed re going to higher ground etc? As for where they built their housing? REALLY? You know the old saying of NOT building a house on shifting sand? Stupidity of regional governors in allowing whole towns to be built in open flat areas that are totally exposed to the KNOWN risks ??? Oh and take a look at the hills/mountains around those areas?? Stupidity? Recklessness? When the truth is those houses etc should have been built on the hills NOT on hmm oh yes.. shifting sand.. JAPAN it seems does not like many countries/islands in that part of the pacific; LEARN, ADAPT and save lives.. This tragedy was a FACT to the truth they DID NOT learn their lessons from previous tsunamis etc or the huge numbers of deaths would NOT have occurred. Oh well some were expendable, so long as it wasn't us.. YET Japan is not alone in this way of thinking (at that time in particular) re KNOWING what the dangers ARE and doing little to actually reduce the hell if unleashed from killing in its wake.. OK rural people you could say have a different mentality from the city dwellers BUT it is up to those in charge to make sure it gets across to them re tsunami / earthquake training, response, health and safety and yes, DO AS YOU ARE TOLD or advised ie get to high ground.. Also note the stupidity in putting elderly people in homes at sea level? Oh yes indeed FACT... You as a community make sure they are placed in homes on HIGHER ground.. bit late if the tsunami hits for them to trundle up to higher ground ?? Great vid and yes good to see that Japan IS doing something that actually IS improving the health and safety of residents though I suspect little too late and will given the Japanese mentality, NEVER enough. As for the nuclear reactors? REALLY??? Japan is on some of the worst fault lines in the Pacific and yet we have FUKISHIMA on the coast??? I have NO empathy for what transpired re the politicians and the capitalists who failed the people re this farce. Never, NEVER! should Japan have had those NUCLEAR power stations to start with given the horror of WHAT, no wait; WHAT DID transpire. I suppose at least the energy saving that occurred from the contaminated, irradiated FISH etc turn off the lights and your fish will provide the lighting for you.. I'll be watching to see how Japan reacts re the next tsunami/earthquake cos this one will NOT have been the last.. 👀

As an American, you could have fooled me into thinking you were American, It sounds like you were going for just what's considered the "typical American accent" which is what we think of as "no accent" or the neutral midwestern accent that most newscasters and actors use. Of course there are many different American accents (like there are many different British accents). Such as the southern drawl, the "Bronx" New York City accent etc.
