An interesting episode, but I feel like there's a key ingredient that you're still missing: Milk powder. So it's kind of niche, but one of the reasons KFC failed - repeatedly - in Israel was because the formula is fundamentally not kosher, and even among the not very religious, it just didn't appeal on that basis. So they had to replace it with a soy alternative that made people say it wasn't as tasty. As of writing this there are 4 locations in Israel, so they did something to get a foothold - who knows what. In the whole video I don't think you mentioned milk powder - or the soy alternative - at all. It was a key enough ingredient to the production of fried chicken abroad that it tanked the chain, the second largest on earth, from getting a foothold. So maybe something to keep in mind for a sequel - or if you want to add it to your winning recipe to see if it gets you to a 10/10.

I worked at a pizzeria for years. When someone ordered toppings, we would put less cheese. Cheese is very expensive compared to something like pepperoni, so it's a no brainer to leave gaps on the cheese and hide it with cheaper toppings.

Was a manager at one of the top 10 Domino's in America. So usually the ideal Large just cheese has 10.5oz of cheese. with toppings it gets only 7oz of cheese. In some cases, I.E. rush, sometimes it would get less, especially if it holds a lot of toppings. The idea and thought here is: Just cheese is supposed to be cheesey. Toppings it wants to see and know there is toppings. extra toppings is suppose to have the SAME amount as with normal toppings, but can sometimes get reduced due to people going too fast or not caring. The Ideal 14 Cheese is 10.5oz of cheese. The Ideal Pep is 7oz of cheese w/ 40 Peperoni. The Ideal extra Pep is 1.5 the normal pep, so 7oz of cheese w/60 Peperoni. Ideal Double pep is 7oz Cheese w/ 80 Pep. That also changes based on extra cheese and double cheese. On a normal cheese pizza, double and extra are the same thing aka, 15oz of cheese. on a topping pizza, it would respond accordingly to 10.5oz for extra and then 14oz for double. EDIT: Thats just with one topping. btw. 2-3 changes the toppings of a 14in Pep +1 to 32, while 4+ toppings with Pep would be 24. This was the standard taught to me, though it may be subject to change.
