He will no doubt be cleared of all charges and apologized to profusely for any inconvenience. Brandon, on the other hand, was seen almost being swept up by the crowd toward an exterior door, and shouting warnings to those around him about a suspected deploying of tear gas. Of course, the 'Sullivan defense' will never work for Brandon. His crime was much worse -- almost entering the Capitol while conservative!

@fabulousinflorida There will be more charges, probably for all of them. The entire event was violent, and they were all part of a collective violent effort. The charges are just beginning, with the easy, light violations first. Since the other charges take more time because they require more in-depth evidence, that's being gathered now, and soon those charges will happen. The idea that any of them should be given leniency is both irrational, given the total damage, and unwise, given the future risk of violence.
