He's got the same problem Harden has: he's just too easy to guard when good defenses are locked in, like in big regular season games and the playoffs. So they'll put up big numbers in the regular season but some combination of the player and coaching lacks any creativity that puts pressure on the defense. Until that changes, he won't win a title as the best offensive player on a team.

Shaq is wrong here. How can you be against Giannis developing great footwork with HOF players? Giannis developing his game beyond just using athleticism to get buckets can only help him and his team win in the long run. If he can learn to out-think teams to go along with his freak ability to out-jump them, there's no limit to that Bucks team. Players should always be looking to get better, not just coasting on what skills you already got (Shaq's later years proved why developing a game beyond physically dominating people is important).Shaq takes criticism of Giannis personally because they have the same deficiencies.
