The thing about Izzy is he is a safety first fighter who usually only engages when he can utilise his unfair reach advantage. He breaks and frustrates the opposition by this mean. When he tried to scrap the safety first approach and try to fight like a warrior, he nearly got knocked out by a B rated fighter in gastelum. When Yoel clipped him, he knew he could not fight man to man, and he had to hide behind his long limbs to have any chance of winning that fight. So he ran to a gift Decision. Izzy is a good fighter with exceptional distance control. He is not the best thing since sliced bread. Without his ape index reach he would not b the fighter he is today. Not to say he should change how he fights. Just opening up some of these casuals eyes
