As a Bucks fan i am worried just because there is just more teams in the East that can be a big problem in the playoffs. KD alone is scary , Harden can control a game and Kyrie is the wild card. No mater what else is happening with The Nets those 3 guys will give them a punching chance at worst and be favored come playoff time if Kyrie shows up. Also the reason i say that KD is so scary is i watched Kyrie single handed lose a playoff round but there is no way KD will let that happen knowing either himself or Harden can take control.

The "Golden State was a jumper shooting team" narrative should had gotten old by now. Yeah, they were a jump shooting team, they also had a roation of bigs (before KD) that would rim protect. And on top of that they were a fierce defensive team with Draymond anchoring the centre and Iguodala and Klay matching the main outside threats the opponent had. That perception of the soft Warriors being manhandled is BS

I disagree with Nick for one reason, you can talk about the nets defense but they just beat the best team in the east and one of the best defensive teams in the league by outscoring them and making key shots. I will say it again, with the nets firepower, a great offense will always beat a good defense. Nobody in the east can contend with the nets offensively especially late in games. He talks about the fourth quarter when the bucks was getting easy shots and dunks but wasnt thr bucks loosing that fourth quater as well in stretches? You tapk about the nets defense but what about the bucks defense? They couldnt stop anybody

Gonna be honest, all of Nick's arguments today will look a lot worse in 24 hours when they're covered in ketchup and mustard. I know Kyrie is returning and that'll effect their defense negatively but I don't see how a new team with more time together is going to steadily drop in a teamwork based category like defense as they play together more. They may never be great defensively but they just need a defense that works for them and their offensive fire power can carry them as long as Kyrue behaves. I always find that Nick's most vehement and long held points are his worst argued and least successful ones because their emotional not logical. It's what got him in trouble with the Bills and it may be what hurts him here because the Nets did just beat the best team in their conference so saying they can win the East isn't crazy at all, this isn't about winning the Finals or out defending the Lakers, just winning the East.

I agree with Nick but I think he's being alil to over zealous. The Nets don't need defense to get out the East. The East is weak enough to where their offense can steam roll ppl and not look back. It's highly possible and I think they will get out the East just by being so high powered on offense. I do however believe they can't beat the Lakers and maybe not even the Clippers (if they come out the West). Being ranked 15th or lower on defense is too low to win against teams who are similar in offensive capability. Im picking the team that may not be as high on offense but is drastically better on defense.
