We will see with Haskins. But people need to know tha when your a Quarterback that's supposed to be the guy and the year you get drafted and you hear that you wasn't the one they wanted and they just drafted you because they needs someone until Smith got back and then when Rivera comes in as HC and he tells everyone he doesn't want you from the jump my play would bbe lousy to. Washington wasn't really trying to give him a chance regardless.. All you had to do is watch how they used him. Matt Canada is going to teach Him and Rudolph how to play and how to shine and Sullivan will get them flowing.

Big Ben doesn’t tutor younger quarterbacks. He said so himself BUT the Steelers have a new QB coach in Matt Canada so maybe he can help him work on his terrible mechanics and footwork. I’m a huge Buckeyes fan and sadly Haskins couldn’t hit a crossing route if he had to. I’ve been a Steelers fan for 45 years also.

Sorry Dwayne but don't expect to much learning from Ben. While he was hurt it was 'rumored' that he didn't help Mason Rudolph at all. Let him fend for himself. He was upset that the STEELERS drafted a QB. Besides that if Ben doesn't restructure or take less money on his contract, the STEELERS are not going to pay $41.5 million. If he retires, the cap hit will only be $20 million. Get with veterans to help get your focus going in the right direction.

Ben knows 2021 will be his last year. He will be focused, and he will not be in on helping Haskins. Haskins needs to help himself, he will get a chance to compete with # 2 Mason Rudolph who also happens to be a FA after 2021 season. If Haskins is smart his goal is to win QB2 next season and the be QB1 for 2022. He has the arm but can he " Get Smart above the shoulders " is what remains to be seen. Perfect chance for the young man with the Steelers. I so want this to work out .

He was dirt cheap and the backup they had is garbage and haskins is less garbage than he is. I'm a huge Ohio state fan 20 min drive from Miami university oxford where Ben played that said Ben is gonna be way overpaid this year and Pittsburgh has no true number 1 RB or a true #1 WR and aside from a few standouts on defense they have a weak defense overall
